@teresondupuy: They sold you an optical illusion. And now you may not even trust your own reality. That is one of the most damaging parts of emotional abuse. You start questioning everything. What was real? Did they ever love me? Was I imagining the connection? Was I the problem? Was any of it true? That confusion can leave you shattered because your nervous system is trying to make sense of two completely different realities: What they said. And what they actually did. That is not healthy love. Love does not require you to abandon your own perception. Love does not constantly distort reality. Love does not keep you trapped in confusion, fear, and self-doubt. The sooner you stop trying to protect the illusion and start seeing the behavior clearly, the sooner healing can begin. Clarity may hurt at first. But clarity is what gets you out. And once you are out of the illusion, you can start rebuilding trust with the most important person in your life: You. #Heartbreak #EmotionalAbuse #HealingJourney #SelfLove #InnerWork
