@ellisreed: How to create a hyperlapse boomerang with the @DJI Official Osmo Mobile 7. This incredibly clever mobile gimbal has a bunch of features up its sleeve. One of the best features is the hyperlapse mode which can be used in a variety of different creative ways. One of my favourite ways is the boomerang effect. Simply open the DJI Mimo app, and select the hyerlapse mode on the camera. Using ActiveTrack 8.0, tap to drag a box over the subject or central focus point. You can adjust the composition with the joystick after. Then you’re ready to record. You’ll want as much time as possible to get the best effect. I recommend counting at least a second between each step you take. Once you’ve hit your end point, do the same in reverse. Then hit stop, drag the video into your editor of choice, make any final adjustments and there you go!
