@mariamaj_12: Chicken Francese 🍋 Tender chicken cutlets in a buttery lemon and white wine sauce. Simple, comforting and absolutely delicious. #chickenfrancese #chickenrecipes #DinnerIdeas #italianfood #fyp Chicken Francese Ingredients 5 chicken cutlets 1/2 cup flour, for dredging 1 egg 1/4 cup milk Adobo, to taste (or salt and pepper) 1/4 cup olive oil, for frying For the Sauce 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 1/3 cup white wine 1 cup chicken broth 1 whole lemon Fresh parsley Adobo, to taste (or salt and pepper) Directions Set up your dredging station. Place the flour in one dish. In another dish, whisk together the egg, milk and a little adobo. You can use salt and pepper instead if you prefer. Dredge each chicken cutlet first in the flour and then in the egg mixture. Heat 1/4 cup olive oil in a large pan. Fry the chicken for about 3–4 minutes per side, until golden. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Remove the frying oil and return the pan to the stove. Add the butter and 2 tablespoons of flour. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add the white wine and let it cook down. Pour in the chicken broth. Slice half of the lemon and add the slices to the sauce. Squeeze the juice from the other half of the lemon into the pan. Season with adobo, or salt and pepper, to your liking. Return the chicken to the pan along with all the juices from the plate. Let everything cook together for another 5–7 minutes, until the sauce starts to thicken. Finish with fresh parsley and the cooked lemon slices on top. We’ll meet you at the table. ❤️
