ohhhh yes. when i lived with my boyfriend, for months he would get drunk and high and abusive as fuck. eventually i started struggling bad, i was sad all the time, didn't talk a lot etc. then he started yelling at me for "always being angry". i was SAD and AFRAID.

I always ask the self proclaimed good men what good things they've actually done? Not doing bad things doesn't make you a good person, it just means you aren't a bad one. You have to do good things to be a good person.

my husband, who i am now separated from, has acknowledged that he may as well have been a painting for all his actual involvement in our day to day lives, and has also acknowledged that, despite me having said for the past 3 years that i was thinking about divorce, that he thought he was "being a good husband" because he wasnt treating me the way he had seen men treat his mother growing up. he thought as long as he was working, not an alcoholic, and not hitting me or yelling at me or being contolling about money, that he was being a good husband.......
