A lot of people love to regurgitate the same misinformation about the night I failed to hit the Shell Shock on Tensai early in my Ryback run. I’ve told the truth about it multiple times, and I’ll continue to do so because the truth always wins. Tensai did NOT sandbag me. I failed to properly execute my own finish that night. That was on me. And you know what? Winners fail. The most successful people in life often fail more than anyone because they’re willing to put themselves in situations where failure is possible. That night, I was extremely ill and having difficulty breathing. I was given the option to take the night off, but I chose to compete. People paid their money to be entertained, and as long as I felt I could go out there and perform, I was going to try. I made a mistake with my positioning when I hooked Tensai for the Shell Shock. With larger athletes, positioning and weight distribution are extremely important. Strength was never the issue. I rushed the setup, didn’t hook him correctly, and the lift failed. 100% my responsibility. What rarely gets shown are the successful Shell Shocks on Tensai, including afterward. Failure gets clicks. Rage bait gets engagement. Misinformation gets repeated until people mistake repetition for truth. But that failure taught me something valuable: respect positioning, take my time, and never assume strength can overcome poor technique. I learned from it, corrected it, and it never happened again. Never be ashamed of failing. Own it. Learn from it. Grow from it. Then come back better. Failure isn’t the opposite of success. Sometimes failure is the lesson that creates your future success. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More! #Ryback #FeedMeMore #WWE #Motivation #HungryMindset
