My friend Dennis’s dog Odie when he passed away at his last reach Odie walked to his chest and mouth to sniffed he no longer was breathing and laid on his chest. It was one of the most beautiful sight to witness. Such a beautiful connection Dennis had with his dogs. Love

Yes, I agree, the can sense when something is wrong. My Maine Coon cat alerted us to my mother’s uterine cancer through his behavior and reactions to her that were so out of character for him. Once she was diagnosed and had her hysterectomy he went right back to being her cuddle buddy. It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed with one of my pets in my lifetime.

My mom’s cat did this with her when she battled breast cancer. She stayed with her until the moment she passed and we had to actually remove her so they could take my mom away. Her kitty passed a week later (she was 17). She didn’t want to live without my mom.

My ❤️cat sat on my chest or laid his head on my shoulder for the 6+ months I was so depressed and could not get out of bed. His purrs were so comforting.

My soul mate cat laid next to my head and purred every morning and every night. He knew of my depression and anxiety. I miss him so much. My parents had a cat. When my aunt would come visit and stay at the house, the cat would lay next to her right above her hip. If my aunt moved, the cat would wait until she settled and then moved again to the same spot. My aunt was in kidney failure.

Had my tonsils burned out with a laser surgery at 27 so it hurt really bad. I woke up with my cat laid across my throat purring. Better than any of the pain med they gave me at relieving the pain. I also started healing faster. How do they know? How do they heal? We should learn to be more like them 🥰🥰🥰
