Don’t know why this year is awful for me. Honestly my students aren’t hard, i am just so burnt out, I am just over it.

For the past 3 years I go home and just sit in the silence to decompress from the day. Every year these kids get worse and nothing is done about their behavior. No administration support whatsoever. District would rather speak to employees, blaming them, then speaking to the parents. This is ridiculous and just sad.

I'm a para and I just resigned because of this. 1 on 1 with a behavior and no support. I couldn't do it again. I'm still traumatized from the last one a couple years ago. I loved my job but my mental health was being affected and my family needs me.

Teaching stole my 20s from me, and I will never forgive the profession. What should have been the best years in my life, were spent constantly overwhelmed, sad, stressed and just miserable. I feel so bad for my husband and my babies. I quit after 13 years and I regret not doing this a long time ago.
