Obama was 20 years old when his dad died. He didn't meet his dad until he was 10 when his dad came to Hawaii. That was the 1 and only time. Jackie Robinson, Harry Belafonte, Martin Luther King, Sidney Portier, etc all recieved the scholarship. Eisenhower matched funds to this program when he came into office. The airlifts began in 1959, it ended in 1963. Obama was born in 1961. 😁
