My pap used to talk about a cave that is along the river and a guy he knew found it by swimming along the river. apparently you had to swim under the water under the bank and then you can walk around inside. I forgot all about that until seeing this.

I lived in Montgomery's Ferry as a kid in the 80's. I remember the older kids on the bus talking about the cave!! Thanks for more insight into this local history!

we use to own the motel that was just above it. I went there many times as a kid collecting fossils. its closed off now but I can't remember when it was done.
