@travis.woo.trades: A lot of people see trading as the path to wealth. I also see it as one of the fastest ways I could lose everything again. That’s why I’m defensive about it. I’ve been broke before. I know what it feels like to worry about basic expenses. And I never want to go back there. The danger starts when trading becomes emotional. One idea turns into obsession. One loss turns into chasing. Then sizing gets bigger. Attention disappears. Work suffers. Life starts revolving around the market. I’ve seen pieces of that in myself before. That’s exactly why I use systems. Rules. Automation. Position sizing. Money set aside that I don’t touch. Not because a system guarantees anything. It doesn’t. But structure gives me boundaries.
