@scotchwoodfarm: Since Duck arrived, I’ve given him plenty of space and time to settle in and get to know me on his terms. ❤️ Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a real change in him. His confidence has grown, and he’s been joining the others for scratches in the paddock. Today felt like a pretty big milestone. 🥹 He spotted me from way off and made his way over, all on his own, just to ask for scratches. It might seem like such a small thing, but these are the moments I love most with cattle. You can’t rush trust or force a relationship. You just keep showing up, respecting their space and making every interaction a positive one.
