@ctctravel: Take one day on your trip, just walk with no plan! This is definitely something I do more when I solo travel, because I’m sure my type-A friends would hate the chaos of it. This day in London I ended up walking close to 13 miles of the most unhinged routes across the city. Went where I want, ate when I felt like it, and just went wherever the city took me. Is there a better way to get to know a place? Sure. Will employ that method? Doubtful. I just find this method more fun.
