@oregonzoo: Check out that wingspan! A dozen young California condors are spreading their wings at our conservation center. The first chick left its nest box last month and the remaining 11 are hopping and flapping closely behind! They will stay with their parents for at least eight months before traveling to wild release sites in California and Arizona, where they’ll eventually join free-flying condors. ##bird##condor##wildlife##endangeredspecies##oregonzoo
