one of my favourite places to visit. i always go with a guide. It looks better at night with all the lanterns switched on in the shops

It's actually fun there. I walked there alone many times and my experience was great. Yes, people tried to sell but it's ok. I liked to walk further where prices were written but still you could negotiate. I mostly negotiated for fun and ended up giving more because they were nice people. There was once that I didn't have internet connection there so I asked one of the shops. He helped and even shared lunch with me. Still need to be careful when being alone everywhere though 😄

I went there but had a guide and government security with me .. they would see this official pin he wore and it was instant respect . Felt extremely safe
