Intercessory prayers! I'm thankful for my heritage in the UPC. My heritage starts with my great grandmother, grandmother & now my mother. I may not agree with all that has happened or still happen in any church organizations, my relationship with God & prayers from my parents keeps me going. The scripture comes to mind, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Condolences to you & your family.

Tonight my oldest grandson saw his grandmother, who has Alzheimer’s, talk to people who were not there. While he didn’t say anything I could tell it was hurting him. He went upstairs after a while, then I went up to. I tried to explain to him what she was doing and why I was responding to her the way I was. I acknowledge it was very hard to watch what she was going through but this is her time we take care of her like she has taken care of us for her entire life. Preston please feel blessed for the time you had with her and your other grandparents who went before her.
