Someone asked me in a 9hr flight to not recline my seat because she had to work… that is crazy. I said sorry for the inconvenience but it’s my right and proceeded to recline my seat slowly and politely.

Why are people literally so upset over people who recline their seats?! If the seat reclines IM RECLINING IT. unless it comes to snack/meal times then ofc I’ll sit upright. You’re in a public place remember. The world doesn’t revolve around you. End of story

I agree it’s polite to ask ahead of time. Or a “hey there! I’m going to recline my seat, will you have space?” There are very tall people out there and I know that some folks just don’t fit well in that scenario. Yes, I paid for a seat, but I consider reclining an optional feature. And yes I’ve done red-eyes fully upright.
