i saw pearl jam at the universal amphitheater once and they wouldn't start the show until dodge took down their ads from everywhere in the venue (pj is famously for the people and for the fans and took on ticketmaster during that time; they didn't bow to anyone). we waited 45 mins and they took them down and eddie came on stage and riffed 'better man' but sang 'can't find a better vaaaan' and laughed and they started the show. ten toes down. 💪🏽
