I completely agree….I have Empires and the broader strap distribution helps because the back itself isn’t lightweight! I love the Turnlock but the weight of it full would definitely be a monster to carry I don’t even wear my Empires 🥹

My favorite bag is the Empire. I just received the Turlock 22 and it’s adorable. I feel like it looks better as a crossbody than the empire 21.

Hey!! I have both and I would Probably never wear the turn lock bag as a crossbody. Also, any time a bag has the option to be a crossbody, I feel like thats exactly what it is, just an option. If you need a crossbody bag then it’s best to buy a bag that’s made to be used as a crossbody. 🩷

I bought the 22 size and while I adore the bag I don’t like where the crossbody strap attaches. It’s less of an issue with this size because I mostly carry her top handle. There’s also a hack where you can attach rings to the outside turnlocks and carry it that way if you want to be hands free. But the 40 is much too big and heavy for that hack or to carry top handle for any length of time

I love my turnlock 40. I don’t use the crossbody strap at all. I bought it to specifically use it without the strap. ❤️

I'm not a Turnlock girlie and three placed on a bag it just looks weird to me. I will say the bigger one is a nice briefcase for work it's really elegant.

I agree. I purchased the Turnlock 22 and it’s not a bag I see myself gravitating towards on a daily basis. Will I keep it? Yes! It’s gorgeous but.. I agree w the straps and how they attach…I do not like it. Love the look.. but not my favorite.

I have the 22 and 40. I definitely think the 22 is more of a handheld bag. Iblove a crossbody but don’t expect I will use her as such very often. The 40 is going to be my work bag. So when I am traveling in the airport, I will use the crossbody, but otherwise I will carry he. They are beautiful bags abd the boarded leather is incredible.

she is a classic style and I dont agree only because: i would never cary this bag as a crossbody because of 2 points: the handles dont move and the attachment point

I feel this so much. The Coach Prairie has the perfect crossbody width and placement for me. I know it’s older but this bag is IT for me. Plus she’s still in fantastic condition.

I agree, if you prefer to use it as a crossbody it’s probably not as functional. I have the 22 but I use the top handle.

Your self control to like but not buy is the stuff of dreams. I aspire to be you! 😬😳 The crossbody on the 22 is good for me. It has a little ‘knack’ to the strap to turn the trigger outwards, so it doesnt undo. The 40 feels too big for me (5’2” & 121 lbs) but I have the Empire 40 & can’t/don’t wear it as crossbody. It’s footprint against my body is too big. If I keep the 40 it’ll be for top handle and at a push shoulder use only. Very likely, a travel bag which sits on my cabin bag wheelie case. You know your style & align accordingly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
