the show is amazing because every character is beautifully flawed in different ways. real people are not perfect and make mistakes and it shows them dealing with it lol that's literally what makes it a good show! people irritate me.

I agree she wasn't perfect, but she didn't break up a single marriage or relationship. it is up to the individuals within a relationship to uphold the standards of the relationship. she didn't make a single person leave their partner bc it's not possible to do so. she is not responsible for a partnered person's behavior.

I think she mainly judged charlotte but even then it was superficial compared to when carrie judged her for being a slot. There’s a difference. Samantha is ultimately superficial, she wasn’t strategic and thoughtful like Carrie.

Honestly I love this show. I have watched it over 5 times. But honestly all four women were toxic and needed therapy for different reasons. Carrie may have been the biggest mess financially, but when it comes to emotional or romantic stuff? They all had major issues 😂

The same people who think Samantha has done no wrong will burn Rory Gilmore in hell for sleeping with Dean because her teenage self believed him when he told her his marriage was over. But also, Carrie messed up and ditched her friends for Big a lot, but it shows how unhealthy and toxic their relationship is that she turned into that person. She didn’t ditch her friends in the earlier seasons and it was an unhealthy result of her relationship.
