@mattdartz: 3D building hack tutorial. So step 1 is paint a snow layer or ground layer make it transparent and use soft brush. On second layer paint anything that you think would look cool extruded. After that merge everything into one layer and select opacity. Use liquify tool; set radius to max, tap “select opacity” and tap “invert” then nudge down 1 pixel, remove selection and repeat again.
