@iowafarmsanctuary: Herbie update! Our boy is doing really well. All of his bloodwork came back and everything looks pretty normal. The vet did find some minor inflammation in his bloodwork, so they think there was potentially a little irritation in his GI tract which was what kept him from eating. Because of Herbie's cleft palate, he struggles to keep his cud in, which leaves him prone to mineral deficiencies and other nutritional problems. So anytime he stops eating, we take that seriously. The vets got him eating well again, and everything looks good for now. He's bright, he's hungry, and he is ready to come home. Thank you all for the love you sent his way! Between all platforms, we were able to raise nearly $6k for Flower and Herbie’s hospital bills! You all make this lifesaving work possible and we are so grateful!
