Could the red sauce have been Catalina dressing. Some Mexican restaurants put that on taco salad.

Love taco burgers! I get them at Taco John's which is a smaller fast food chain... mainly in the north west area. ❤️❤️

I'm from Kansas, and we have a Taco Grande that's originally based out of Kansas. We also have the cousin company to Taco Grande, which is Taco Tico. They also offer Taco burgers, and are the best...ever!!

So just a little bit different and I don’t know if this was a Texas thing or if it was NATIONWIDE. Do you remember Pizza Hut doing a Taco pizza? I think it had refried beans, taco meat, lettuce, tomato on top! It was so good! I was a gymnast and my dad used to drive me to corpus 90 minutes two or three days a week and that pizza was my go to on the way home!

@sara without an H teaches how to make the Mexican style taco ground beef on her channel in h grandmother’s authentic method, I used that method last time I cooked it and it was perfect! Give it a try, we loved it!

Never thought about adding enchilada sauce to my hamburger, never! This is definitely one sauce I must try out. I have a can of red enchilada sauce and I shall pick up In-N-Out burgers without any of their spread to add the enchilada sauce to them.🍔😋😍

Cherie, when I lived in Charlotte, N.C there was a place called Taco Loco, and they sold those and called them taco burgers, so delicious! I know those are so good. 🥰

Years ago Taco Bell had the Bell Beefer with taco meat, on hamburger bun with mild red sauce with cheese, lettuce. So good🥰

Oh I remember those tacos well! My neighbors growing up were Spanish. The mama used to make us tacos and it’s the closest thing I’ve found to that mixture. She fried her hamburger meat. Added a small tomato sauce. And used a LOT of cumin. We thought they were the best tacos we ever had.
