Go long enough without sleep and your ability to regulate hunger, energy, focus, recovery, and performance starts taking a hit. And this is where a lot of people get stuck. They’re trying to train harder and eat better while consistently giving their body less recovery than it needs. Sleep isn’t separate from your fitness goals. It’s part of the system. If fat loss, muscle growth, performance, or better health is the goal, recovery has to be part of the plan too. You can’t out-train poor recovery forever.
