@magneticgirlfit: TRAIN LIKE A GIRL 🎀 Marathoner. Yogi. Pilates princess. Strength training. What kind of box does a hybrid athlete go in? NONE. Who decided the gym has to mean just one kind of movement? Over the years, building my capacity to move has meant refusing to put myself in a box of “what am I supposed to do to get fit?” Instead, I’ve started asking, “What makes me feel alive?” How far can I run with my child-like curiosity and keep growing and growing and growing. And that mindset has changed everything. Movement doesn’t just change your physique, it’s a full-blown heart transformation!! I’ve grown so much as a runner, deepened my yoga practice, gotten stronger, and discovered new ways to move with joy all because I decided I wanted to pursue as much of what LIGHTS ME UP as possible. My biggest recommendation? Approach movement like play. Have a little childlike curiosity. Try the thing you’re bad at. Try the thing you’ve always wanted to try. Strap on ankle weights and be clumsy. Lose your balance trying a new yogi move, and get up to try again and again. Let yourself be a beginner. You don’t have to choose one identity or one type of workout. You can run. You can lift. You can flow. You can Pilates. You can hike. You can dance. You can do it all. JOY MAX.
