I sold my car for $3,500 and left the country. By the end of 2021, Sam & I had been running BUILT Body Transformations for 16 months. Made $26k total between the two of us. 70-hour weeks. We knew something had to change. So we sold our car. which we shared at the time... a 2003 Hyundai Elantra, $3,500, everything we had; packed a bag and moved to Dubai. Couldn't really afford it. Australian borders were closed. Once we left, we couldn't easily come back. The first thing that changed wasn't the strategy. It was the people. I surrounded myself with coaches and entrepreneurs who were playing at a level I'd never seen before. That changed everything. Within months we hit almost $30,000 in a single month. More than the first 16 months combined. For the next two years I ran the business from everywhere. Dubai. Thailand. Bali. Europe. America. A laptop and wifi... that's all I needed. Two years later I flew back to Australia. Got an Uber straight from Brisbane Airport to the Mercedes dealership. Left in a $3,500 Hyundai with nothing. Came back and drove home in a Mercedes. The strategy didn't change overnight. The people around me did. Your environment either raises your ceiling or keeps it low. If you're stuck in a room where nobody's doing what you want to do; change the room.
