-The House Oversight Committee voted unanimously, 41-0, to advance a motion to hold Leon Black in contempt of Congress. -The committee vote sends a resolution to the full House. If the House passes it, the citation is referred to the Justice Department. -Willful defiance of a congressional subpoena is a federal misdemeanor under 2 U.S.C. § 192: up to one year in prison and a fine up to $100,000. DOJ then decides whether to take it to a grand jury.
