After moving back to the area to go back to school, nothing freaked me out more than the June 2019 haboob going through Lubbock. I thought there was going to be a tornado. Crazy thing is we just had tornado in Abilene that same year.

for those unfamiliar, welcome to lubbock. 5:30 it was 100 degrees and clear skies and by 6:15 it was 60 degrees, 5 inches worth of rain, and record breaking 70 mph wind gusts
