@currentaffairsng: “IF YOU VOTE FOR PETER OBI, YOU’RE VOTING FOR SEAPORTS IN THE SOUTH” — WHY SHOULD THAT FRIGHTEN ANY NIGERIAN? A controversial political message warned Yoruba voters that supporting Peter Obi could lead to more seaports outside Lagos and fewer Igbo investments in Lagos. But why should development in the South-East or South-South threaten Lagos—or any Nigerian? This commentary examines the dangerous zero-sum idea that one Nigerian region must remain economically disadvantaged for another to prosper. Lagos can prosper. The South-East can prosper. The South-South can prosper. The North can prosper. Nigeria needs more centres of economic opportunity, not fewer.#viralditiktok #nigeria #nigeriantiktok🇳🇬 #nigeriantiktok #trending
Even when old or abroad, their sense of reasoning will still be emotionally beclouded. Why?
Does South East have Sea? that's where the logic of the question start, and for any reasonable person to even give it a thought.
As a reasonable human and an elite or exposed. You should ask certain probing questions about the current states of the existing ports in the South South and why they aren't functioning optimally. but emotions, hypocrisy, regional jingoism and tribal sentiment won't allow
What are the real challenges of these ports including that have Lagos and why is Lagos preferred. Can Nigeria develop seaport with the reality of today? Why did Lagos in partnership with private sector develop Lekki Deep Seaport even while 2 ports already exist in Lagos. What economy viability would be affected by fully functioning of Port-harcourt port, One, Calabar and War? Would 5 ports be a threat to Nigeria economy or economy of any region. Unfortunately for all of you non of you come to social media to speak about the insecurity caused in your region by IPOB ESN UGM etc. because you didn't see the economic effect of such but blame every tribes for your woes. You're all trying to build egalitarian society of eastern extraction that's base on lies, falsehood, hypocrisy, manipulation, emotions. blame game etc. you don't grow by discrediting others especially when they're not looking for your down fall...your fore fathers have built negative imagination and wrong mindset for why you should hates others and see them as the source of your problem because your leaders never take responsibility

Whether Bola tinubu and his supporters deny the responsibility or not that is exactly what is in the mind heart and soul of every Yoruba man woman born and unborn they know it clearly that the moment power shift to easternland all the seaports the same Yorubas particularly olusegun Obasanjo closed: Calabar porthacourt and warri seaports will ultimately be reopened and the seaports monopoly enjoy in the Yorubaland will collapsed overnight, the recent publication by NBS national bureau of statistics said it clearly, reopening seaports outside the corridors of Lagos state will definitely cause huge economic loss to Lagos state and Yorubaland in general,Lagos population will automatically declined too ,all the Yorubas know this without coming to internet and social media to complain,HAVE YOU ASK YOURSELF WHY A NIGERIA WITH A POPULATION OF 250 M PEOPLE ONLY LAGOS SEAPORTS ARE FUNCTIONAL OPERATIONAL AND VIABLE WHAT HAPPENED TO CALABAR PORTHACOURT AND WARRI SEAPORTS??????????????? WHY DO OLUSEGUN OBASANJO DELIBERATELY CLOSED CALABAR PORTHACOURT AND WARRI SEAPORTS,ARE CALABAR PORTHACOURT AND WARRI SEAPORTS NOT PART OF NIGERIA?????????????????????? EVEN God's will Akpabio senate president cannot compelled federal govt to reopen Calabar porthacourt and warri seaports and build ORON seaports in akwa ibom state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the only LEVERAGE Yorubas have in Nigeria is it not seaports monopoly?????????????????
