"it compels all nations, on pain of extinction, to adopt the bourgeois mode of production. it compels them -- to become bourgeious themselves. in one word, it creates a world after it's own image." marx makes it very clear through his writings that a true communist society with no state cannot happen amongst an existence of capitalist societies. communism is a *global* revolution. so in order to try and work communism into a world of capitalism, it must unfortunately manifest itself, in one way or another, in the image of capitalism and commodity production. i'm not saying Chinas model is the answer, but those of you who think we can airdrop a LITERAL stateless, classless, moneyless society into our capitalist world are fools.
