When a truck carrying such a heavy load suffers brake failure, the consequences can be devastating. This is not something we should take lightly. The Ministry responsible for roads and road safety, together with the relevant authorities, must pay serious attention to the condition of these trucks, enforcement of roadworthiness requirements, and the safety of other road users.
