@heatherkerleylifestyle: I quit smoking cold turkey 6 weeks ago by focusing on what I’m building for myself, not what I’m leaving behind. This is my exact formula. 1. Set a goal 2. Plan craving redirects 3. Write out what your new routine is going to look like. 4. Visualization. Create a vision board for your goal. Also do visualization exercises around your new routine. If you want to dive deeper or feel you need a little more guidance, click the link in my bio, I have a workbook that breaks all of this down even further. It breaks down what your triggers are, it tracks your money saved. You don’t have to do this alone. Quitting smoking isn’t passive, it’s something you have to be an active participant in if you want to be successful. You got this, kid. #quittingsmoking #mindsetmatters #selfimprovementdaily #nicotinefree #quitsmokingwithme
9 days smoke free. The withdrawals are thee worst. Two trips back to back to the hospital forced me to quit. No cravings but the withdrawals are insane.

Congrats to you girl!!! Something that helped me was drinking cold beverages, chewing gums or just pretending to inhale and exhale a cigarette when I had an urge to smoke. Going 3 months with no nicotine and it’s normal to still think about it but saying no to that urge gets easier, you’ve got this 🫶🏻

I really needed to hear this. The “byproduct of achieving the goal” really changed the way my brain reacts to the thought of quitting. “I got places to go and cigarettes can’t come with me” is SO powerful and exactly why I’m going to quit. I just chain smoked half a pack after quitting for less than 72 hours. I’ve quit for weeks, months, even years but always went back to it. This is a different mentality than the methods I’ve tried. Thank you! Hopefully this is it for me. I’m so sick of harming my body and feeling like I need that

Smoked for 40 years! Started when I was 12 😬 Nicotine free for 11 months, complete smoke free 9 months. I weened off the nicotine in other smokeable herbs (mullin, raspberry etc) and then weened off the hand to mouth by changing the actual formed smokers habits. Had tried before, nothing worked. This is what worked for me.
