زندگی نے مجھے بہت سے سبق دیے، مگر سب سے بڑا سبق میری اپنی زبان نے سکھایا۔ پہلے میں بہت بولتا تھا، اپنے دل کی ہر بات کہہ دیتا تھا۔ مجھے لگتا تھا کہ جذبات کو لفظوں میں ڈھال دینا ہی سچائی ہے، مگر وقت نے بتایا کہ ہر شخص ہمارے احساسات کی قدر نہیں کرتا۔ کچھ لوگ آپ کے لفظ نہیں، صرف آپ کی خامیاں تلاش کرتے ہیں۔ پہلے میں لمبی لمبی تحریریں لکھا کرتا تھا۔ دل میں جو ہوتا، بغیر کسی جھجک کے کاغذ پر اتار دیتا۔ لیکن آہستہ آہستہ محسوس ہوا کہ آج کے لوگ لمبی باتیں پڑھنا اور سننا پسند نہیں کرتے۔ اب تو چند مختصر جملوں میں وہی احساس بیان کر دیتا ہوں جسے پہلے کئی صفحات میں لکھا کرتا تھا۔ شاید الفاظ کم ہو گئے ہیں، مگر تجربہ بڑھ گیا ہے۔ خاموشی نے مجھے سکھایا کہ ہر بات کہنا ضروری نہیں، اور ہر شخص کو اپنی کیفیت بتانا بھی ضروری نہیں۔ بعض اوقات خاموش رہ جانا، ہزار دلیلیں دینے سے زیادہ باوقار ہوتا ہے۔ جو لوگ واقعی آپ کو سمجھتے ہیں، وہ آپ کی خاموشی بھی پڑھ لیتے ہیں، اور جو نہیں سمجھتے، انہیں ہزار الفاظ بھی قائل نہیں کر سکتے۔ اب میں ہر بحث میں نہیں پڑتا، ہر الزام کا جواب نہیں دیتا، اور ہر دل دکھانے والے کو اپنی صفائی بھی پیش نہیں کرتا۔ کیونکہ وقت نے مجھے یہ سمجھا دیا ہے کہ کچھ سوالوں کا جواب خاموشی ہوتی ہے، اور کچھ لوگوں کے لیے خاموشی ہی سب سے بہترین جواب ہے۔ آج اگر میری تحریریں مختصر ہو گئی ہیں تو اس کی وجہ الفاظ کی کمی نہیں، بلکہ تجربوں کی زیادتی ہے۔ میں نے سیکھ لیا ہے کہ بات لمبی ہونے سے اثر نہیں چھوڑتی، بلکہ سچی ہونے سے دل تک پہنچتی ہے۔ چپ رہنا واقعی زیادہ بہتر ہوتا ہے… یہ مجھے زیادہ بول کر پتہ چلا۔ #urdupoet #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #DeepWords #foryou #be_alfaz
