Ok…let’s break this down….in that particular verse…the English word “wear” was transliterated from the Hebrew word “hayah”….in the Strongs concordance, its word #OT1961….it means….”to be or to exist”….now to give a modern day example of using the word “wear” in its intended biblical usage would be if I said: “I wear many hats at my job”. No one would think I literally physically wear many physical hats at my work….its a metaphor that means, I “exist as” many different things at my work. The real meaning of this verse is….a woman shouldn’t exist as or portray herself as a man and a man shouldn’t exist as or portray himself as a woman. It’s not about any particular physical piece of clothing, but rather the intent in which those clothings are worn….
