And they couldn’t do this for Windhelm? An actual ancient metropolis of Nords, oldest human city of the North…it should look the same…but it looks like some village down the road 😅😂 Somitude is magnificent in ESO and much better in scale…large and tall…then in Skyrim. And there are some changes here and there and that ofc fine, cuz city’s change with hundreds of years. But with Windhelm…it doesn’t make any sense…and it makes me nuts 😅😂

i love the scale of eso. however the areas, be it the cities, landscapes etc, all just feel empty. i know it’s a MMORPG, but still. skyrim is smaller and more compact, but it feels just right for single player

I think for a lot of ESO cities, the changes can be excused because the ones we see in the main series are built from less hardy materials, wood for Windhelm and Riften, carapaces for Ald-Ruhn and mushrooms for the Telvanni towns, these can all change in a matter of months. cities that don't change are ones like Vivec and Markarth, entirely made of stone and not built with possible replanning in mind, one's a holy city, overseen and planned by a "god" and the other is basically a squatting situation except the owners are lost at sea or something

going to solitude on my first time playing eso made me quit and go back to skyrim
