Dolly was one of twelve children born to Robert Lee and Avie Lee Parton. In this photo, the siblings are standing together in birth order: Willadeene, David, Denver, Dolly, Bobby, Stella, Cassie, Randy, Freida, Floyd and Rachel. Eleven siblings. One photograph. A lifetime of memories between them. They grew up together in the mountains of East Tennessee with very little materially, but with a home filled with family, faith, stories and music.
