I honestly wish they would switch to just using drones with cameras. Everyone could stay at the studio safely and still report there’s no reason for them to physically be in the helicopter.

Back in 2007, here in Az, we had two news choppers collide during a police pursuit, and 4 people passed way. One of the guys wasn’t even supposed to be working that day, the regular guy had just taken the day off.,)780 It was heartbreaking and my thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

I live 2 miles away, and I didn’t hear a thing. I saw smoke in the sky, and then went on citizen to see what was going on… unbelievably sad that one tragedy led to another… I’m so sorry
