This weekend, I traveled to Albany, New York, to stand alongside advocates at the kickoff rally for the March to Abolish Animal Testing🐾 This cause is deeply personal to me. Humphrey and Rowan both spent years of their lives being used in research and although they eventually experienced freedom, love and the comfort of home, countless animals are still waiting for that same chance. The march is continuing more than 200 miles across New York and will conclude on September 26 outside Marshall BioResources, a facility that breeds dogs and other animals for laboratory use. Every mile represents the animals hidden behind laboratory walls and the future we are fighting to create. One where human-relevant research methods replace animal testing. You don’t have to walk the entire route to make a difference.
