Witnesses managed to lift the car off her body after the horrifying crash. 22-year-old Halle Bae Osborne-Holland indicated left out of a petrol station, before smashing her Mercedes into a couple riding a motorbike, sending them flying through the air. Christopher Collins, 22, and Rebecca Good, 21, were travelling along a main road in Swanley, Kent, on a Honda motorbike when the dental nurse pulled out of a petrol station into the path of the oncoming motorbike - leaving the rider with little time to react. Shocking dashcam footage of the incident on 28 August last year shows the pair flipping over the car before landing on the carriageway - with debris scattered across the road. Ms Good, a student, who has no memory of the crash itself, was reportedly left trapped beneath a nearby VW Golf, as members of the public managed to lift the car to free her before emergency services arrived. She was then airlifted to King’s College Hospital. Ms Good suffered a fractured thigh bone and had to have splints in her leg. Driver Mr Collins was also rushed to hospital with a serious blood clot in one of his legs, which required three surgeries to treat. KentOnline reported Mr Collins wrote a victim impact statement which was read out in court. He said, “The confidence I gained in the five years I was riding has been taken away in five seconds. I no longer have a bike and feel a prisoner in my own home.” Prosecutor Victoria Aked warned that the crash could have been fatal. At Medway Magistrates' Court she said:

At Medway Magistrates' Court she said: "It's obvious [Osborne-Holland] didn't take a second to stop when she left the forecourt... She didn't think of anyone; they could be dead today." On 7 July, Osborne-Holland pleaded guilty to two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. She was banned from driving for a year and placed on a 12-month community order, where she will have to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
