eurocentric beauty standards (for women) are really bizarre when you figure out what they add up to: thinness, blondeness, hairlessness, high pitch voice, a number of things.. and then also "radium girls" wasn't just limited to the factory but also impacted the health of anyone using the makeup with radium. - soounds like more deconstructing is needed if some systems can be understood but not the system of eurocentric beauty features being pushed/marketed/profited (and for the benefit whom) - and how eurocentric beauty standards inversely and disproportionately have impact on anyone who doesn't fit into the boxes (if you've made it this far you knows it goes much deeper than this choppy condensed version)
