@mikejeffreyphoto: ISO makes a lot more sense if you try to understand what ISO means for film. The higher the ISO the more sensitive your film (or digital sensor) is to light. So when you increase your ISO you can take photos in low loght with faster shutter speeds and not have a blurry image. But of course increasing the ISO has the tradeoff of adding more grain (or digital noise on modern cameras). That said I would always rather get the image with a bit of noise rather than take a blurry image with a slow shutter speed. #photography101 #learnphotography #filmphotography
