Duke's Nose track in Whangaroa Harbour. There is a hut at the end but you have to book. Matai bay, spirits bay, tapotupotu all sick places to camp. ooh and make sure you take a boogie board down the te Paki sand dunes.

Manea Footprints of Kupe cultural experience in Opononi. Follow that up with a munch at Opononi Fish n Chips. You will never have better, including the view while you stuff your face. Also recommend a stop off at Ngawha Springs on your way to Opononi (just before Kaikohe)), which is about 30mins Lots of other stuff to do there too, such as seeing Tane Mahuta, giant sand dunes, a walk to the see the view of the Hokianga Harbour, YouTube boulders, etc.

if you're through Huntly many lovely lakes. main St has great bakeries. craft stores etc. nzs best privately owned clothing store called kessoff and sons is old school quality items new and old fashion. lots to do and see. barbers are all real good and for your girl nail salons all modern and new. I'm in Huntly but on back road to ngaruawahia. iv huge hotwheels collection something different for you to see. hit me up. take care. becaware if people around you just incase and just have fun.

enjoy the far north plenty of spots that can even top there and lots with surf or snorkeling. grew up at Taupo Bay and Ahipara both coast are very different but amazing

Karikari Peninsula is beautiful, there’s rangiputa, puwheke beach it’s beautiful, maiati bay as well go to the end of the boat ramp side and there’s some cool huge rocks, also Rotopokaka (Coca-Cola lake ) freshwater lake colour of Coca-Cola something differnt but best place to swim.
