#Alerta Ubicados y destruidos tres laboratorios para el procesamiento de clorhidrato de cocaína en Norte de Santander. Gracias a las operaciones militares que se desarrollan de manera permanente, este año han sido incautadas más de tres toneladas de clorhidrato de cocaína en el marco de la Operación Catatumbo. Tropas del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con la Policía Nacional, localizaron y destruyeron de manera controlada un laboratorio perteneciente a un grupo armado organizado, el cual era utilizado para el procesamiento de clorhidrato de cocaína en la zona rural de San José de Cúcuta, Norte de Santander. En 6 estructuras rústicas se hallaron más de 460 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína, 60 galones de cocaína en suspensión y 830 galones de insumos líquidos, además de maquinaria y equipos empleados para la fabricación del estupefaciente. Por otra parte, en zona rural de Tibú, se logró la ubicación de 2 laboratorios más para el procesamiento de pasta base de coca; allí se logró la incautación de abundantes insumos sólidos y líquidos que tendrían un valor aproximado de 40 millones de pesos. Las operaciones militares de interdicción y neutralización de economías ilícitas continuarán siendo una prioridad para la seguridad y la estabilidad en la región del Catatumbo.
