@nmahbb: don’t get me wrong I was so mad at Hannibal for what he was doing to Will. I hated him. it's just the toxicity..as a viewer, you kinda fall into their dynamic. You feel what Will is feeling, at least I did. you feel pulled in like him. In season 1 especially, Will is vulnerable, he is the prey (I know they switch a lot but I'm talking for most of season). Around Hannibal he is softer, weaker, because he feels safe to do so, he feels seen for the first time and can let his guard down. It's like he "gives up" in Hannibal's presence. He lets go. He doesn't act this soft around anyone else. there's something about will's submissiveness and how he is falling into Hannibal's trap that is so wrong, but also toxicly delicious?
