I have been in photography for 10 years, after spending 7 years working with different organizations, including Parliament of Uganda and several TV stations.
I was inspired by Daville and later learned the business side of photography from photographers like Karizma. Once I understood photography as a business, I fell in love with it.
Everything I have today has come from photography alone. Things I couldn't achieve in 7 years of employment, photography has enabled me to achieve.
So, I disagree with the idea that you cannot become wealthy through photography. You absolutely can. There are many successful photographers worldwide who have built significant wealth through the industry.
But I also agree that photographers should not consume everything they earn. Earn from photography, then invest your profits to build long-term wealth.
To every photographer: believe in your craft, learn the business, build your brand, and invest.
Photography can change your life. It changed mine. 📸

What is wealth to you my guy? If you can answer that question, you will realize photography is very ok... for a business. Plus some of us are not aiming to be wealthy, we are aspiring for a comfortable life...a pretty good house, a decent car for my family... being able to put my kids through decent schools...etc and photography actually does this for me...so am good. Stop being a pessimist bro...
