We need stronger surveillance, regular inspections, effective enforcement, and, most importantly, simple ways for Nigerians to identify genuine products from fake ones. Because by the time a fake product goes viral online, it may already have reached thousands of homes. Our health should not depend on whether we are lucky enough to discover that a product is fake.
