@___brittany___: This exercise is MONEY. 💰🔥 …and it also COST me money because suddenly all my bras and dresses were WAY too loose. 😂 So… fair warning! 👀 Yes, bringing a WIDE infrasternal angle closer toward a more optimal ~90° position can change how your body looks. But honestly? The BIGGEST win was what it did for my CORE FUNCTION. 🔥 A rib cage that MOVES well, a thoracic spine that can ROTATE, and ribs that can stack more efficiently over the pelvis give your abs a MUCH better foundation to work from. And this exercise hits SO much: 🔥 Serratus → helps control and position the rib cage 🔥 Internal + external obliques → rotation, compression & trunk stability 🔥 Deep core → helps manage intra-abdominal pressure 🔥 Rectus abdominis → trunk flexion + tension through the abdominal wall 🔥 Pelvic floor → works as part of the entire pressure system …and MORE. Because your core isn’t just a bunch of “ab muscles.” YOUR CORE IS A PRESSURE SYSTEM. 🫁🔥 Think of it like a canister: ⬆️ Diaphragm = the top 🫃 Abdominal wall = the sides ⬇️ Pelvic floor = the bottom For your core to function at its best, these structures need to coordinate, move, and manage pressure TOGETHER. So if you’re constantly trying to “flatten your stomach” with more crunches… you may be missing a HUGE piece of the puzzle. #workoutsforwomen #postpartumfitness #coreexercises #pelvicfloorexercises #Dedicated @Francesco Antonio
