An NBC Los Angeles news helicopter crashed Tuesday evening in Chatsworth while covering a nearby fatal collision involving a Metro bus and an SUV. The helicopter came down between two commercial buildings and caught fire. The Los Angeles Fire Department said three people were pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was taken to a hospital. At least one of those killed was on the ground. Officials were still working through the wreckage to determine how many people had been aboard the helicopter. NBC Los Angeles later confirmed the aircraft was its NewsChopper4.
