hey girl, if you’re open to pointers, I’d recommend first using a regular hair brush or comb to gather/shape the hair into a ponytail, then smoothing it over with the boar brush. Going straight in with the boar brush is what 1. Makes it take so long to form the ponytail, and 2. Pretty much just brushes the top layer of hair, leaving the under layer to create those bumps. 💗
