@syracuse.com: The state Attorney General’s Office has released drone video taken during a standoff where an Elbridge, N.Y., man was fatally shot by a SWAT deputy. The video, which has no sound, shows Frederick Marty, 62, barricaded in his home at the Rolling Hills mobile home park off Route 5 in Elbridge on Aug. 23. Deputies arrived at Marty’s home after receiving a report that he had fired a gun at a parked car, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Several hours later, deputies broke a window and used a drone to see inside the mobile home, the AG’s Office said in a statement issued with the release of the video. Sheriff Toby Shelley said at a news conference after the shooting that Marty pointed his gun at the drone, “then immediately thereafter pointed his long gun at one of our SWAT members.” 📽️: NYS Attorney General's Office
