as a doula I say ask your midwife, obgyn or doula before you do it because it can induce labor...but outside of that it isn't harmful.

When you latch him in the hospital make sure you latch him on both !!! His saliva will make your body produce .. and the more you pump and he eats the more you’ll produce !! I breastfed for 6 months !!
